The holidays are the most joyful time of the year, correct? Well, for some ladies, holiday parties can bring a lot of stress and anxiety. In case you’re lacking confidence and not happy with your weight, these occasions can lead you to doubt and judge yourself more critically.

4. Do 10 push-ups.
You’ll in a split second feel tighter in your arms, and more confident in your body. Practices like push-ups or squats can make the “burn” feeling after only 10 or 20 repetitions.
Connect with your body physically so you can feel the impacts of what you’ve just done, and in turn feel more sure about yourself. When you’re ready to do an activity and accomplish an immediate goal, that feels great mentally, as well.
5. When in doubt, take a break.
Preceding your first holiday party of the season, record yourself saying, “I feel sure,” or “I am strong!” Then, if you’re beginning to feel self-conscious at a party, you can venture out and go to the bathroom. Play the insistence on your phone as if you’re playing and listening to a voice message. It’ll be an extra shot of confidence that you have to take back off to the party and have a good time.
