Inspired by the long sleepless nights beside a newborn baby, the designer Yves Behar designed a modern baby cot which seamlessly begins to swing the baby when you hear loud sounds like a baby crying.
Performed with creative design lines and legs in retro style cradle by designer offers an excellent solution for new parents that fail to sleep at least one hour more at night.
Cradle “Snoo”, the designer presents as the first “smart” children’s cot, which automatically responds to children crying and movement and begins to sway in order to fall asleep children without parents having to wake up to do the same. The bed has a built-in microphone, speakers and sensors will detect when a loud sound and distressed movement begins gently thread the baby, then the speed is slowly increased until the baby back to sleep.
Behar notes that the idea comes from his personal experience and frequent awakening of his child, leaving him and his wife without a good night’s sleep.
